Meet The Director

Storytelling is at the Heart of Who I Am

"Video is more than visuals—it is an experience captured forever."

What began as a passion project during my senior year at Summit High School—founding a gospel choir in Newark and spending countless hours in the computer lab producing a mini-documentary about it—sparked a lifelong obsession with cinematography.

After college and graduate school, I served as a dedicated School Counselor in Miami, Florida, and Irvington, New Jersey, for nearly 17 years. Throughout my tenure in education, I used my camera to tell the stories of our youth and community, earning the honor of two-time recipient of the NJ Governor’s Educator of the Year award (2017 & 2021).

Following my career in education, I stepped into the private sector as Vice President of Public Relations for a finance startup, and in 2021 founded Children of Haitian Immigrants (COHI, Inc.) to support migrant families. Today, through Her Fly Productions, I pour that same passion into preserving your legacy, celebrating your milestones, and elevating your organization’s voice.
